The Teltonika FTM305 is designed for organizations that want to monitor electric vehicles and machines within e-mobility and industrial applications. Think e-bikes, e-scooters and electric forklifts, where visibility into location and vehicle data is essential for operational management, maintenance planning and fleet control. The FTM305 combines mobile IoT connectivity with GNSS positioning and a CAN interface for reading vehicle data. Thanks to its IP67 enclosure, the device is suitable for applications where dust and water play a role. Technical network specifications

The FTM305 supports data transmission over LTE Cat M1 with maximum data rates of up to 588 kbps (download) and 1119 kbps (upload). For versions with NB-IoT, maximum data rates are up to 127 kbps (download) and 158.5 kbps (upload). When using GPRS, data transmission is possible up to 107 kbps (download) and 85.6 kbps (upload). In a B2B context, this means the tracker is tuned for telematics and monitoring data, such as location updates, events and vehicle parameters, rather than bandwidth-intensive applications.

 

Remote management

Configuration and firmware updates are supported via FOTA Web and the Teltonika Telematics Configurator (TCT). This enables remote management, which is relevant for organizations that deploy trackers scattered across vehicles and locations and want to perform updates centrally.
