De Teltonika FTC164 is een next-generation waterproof 4G LTE Cat 1 tracker voor professionele tracking- en telematics-toepassingen waarbij robuuste hardware, autonome werking en nauwkeurige positiebepaling samenkomen. De tracker ondersteunt LTE Cat 1, GSM, GPRS, GNSS en Bluetooth LE, beschikt over een IP69K waterproof casing en heeft een interne 2600 mAh Li-Ion back-upbatterij. Voor locatiebepaling ondersteunt de FTC164 GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO en BEIDOU, met 135 tracking/acquisition channels en een position accuracy van < 1.8 m CEP. Daarnaast is het apparaat voorzien van interne high gain GNSS- en cellular-antennes, Nano-SIM, USB Type-C, 128 MB intern flashgeheugen en meerdere I/O-interfaces. De Teltonika FTC164 is bedoeld voor professionele trackingtoepassingen in omgevingen waar het apparaat bestand moet zijn tegen stof, waterdruk en stoom. De datasheet noemt trailer security and tracking, construction vehicles solutions, agriculture transport solutions, cold chain monitoring en water transport monitoring als toepassingsgebieden. De combinatie van IP69K-behuizing, LTE Cat 1/GSM-connectiviteit, GNSS-positionering, Bluetooth 5.4 en een 2600 mAh interne back-upbatterij maakt de FTC164 geschikt voor situaties waarin voertuigen, trailers of mobiele assets langdurig gevolgd moeten worden. FTC164 technologie, interfaces en integratie

De Teltonika FTC164 combineert LTE Cat 1, GSM, GPRS, GNSS en Bluetooth LE in één waterproof tracker. Afhankelijk van de uitvoering gebruikt de FTC164-MDAB0 een MeiG SLM336-E module en de FTC164-MEAB0 een MeiG SLM336-L module. Voor cellular communicatie ondersteunt het apparaat LTE FDD Cat 1, GSM/GPRS, SMS text/PDU en netwerkprotocollen TCP en UDP. De tracker beschikt over 5 digitale inputs, 1 negative input, 4 digitale outputs, 5 analoge inputs, 1-Wire, USB 2.0 Type-C, Nano-SIM en interne high gain GNSS- en cellular-antennes. Door de combinatie van I/O, GNSS, Bluetooth LE en interne opslag kan de FTC164 worden geïntegreerd in voertuig- en assetinstallaties waar meerdere signalen en datastromen worden gebruikt.

FTC164 beheer en configuratie

De Teltonika FTC164 ondersteunt configuratie en firmware-updates via FOTA WEB en de Telematics Configuration Tool. Daarnaast kunnen SMS en GPRS commands worden gebruikt voor configuration, DOUT control en debug. Voor tijdsynchronisatie ondersteunt het apparaat GNSS, NTP en NITZ. Ignition detection kan plaatsvinden via Digital Input 1, accelerometer of external power voltage. Deze beheer- en configuratiemogelijkheden sluiten aan op professionele telematics-installaties waarin device-instellingen, firmware en operationele commando’s centraal of op afstand moeten kunnen worden beheerd.
