Team Wybe raises money for cancer research during “Wetterfyts11stedentocht”.<\/h2><\/header>\n

Pinksterweekend 2022 was finally here. Team Wybe started the “Wetterfyts11stedentocht” for the Maarten van der Weijden Foundation. Team Wybe is a team of friends of Wybe Leenstra from Gaastmeer, who died at the age of 37 from a brain tumor. The money raised by Team Wybe will be donated to the Maarten van der Weijden Foundation. The amount will be spent on the fight against and research into cancer.<\/p>\n

The trip was made on a special water bike. To follow this special event a livestream was set up. This was made possible by the 4G total solution offered by Capestone, which included a Teltonika router, a Poytning antenna and a Unlimited data SIM card.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Maarten van der Weijden Foundation<\/h3>\n

Since 2014, the then deceased Wybe Leenstra from Koudum has been connecting a large group of friends who do a mega-performance almost every year to raise money for cancer research. This year, three days of slaving away on a special pedal boat, covering the Elfstedentocht, to raise as much money as possible for the Maarten van der Weijden Foundation. Maarten van der Weijden was also present at the start in Bolsward and kicked off the team. He is impressed by the initiative, because it is not easy to move forward on a so-called ‘beer bike’. “And it’s also better weather for swimming than cycling,” Van der Weijden believes. The team is supported in the trip by guest cyclists, who have a personal reason for participating. The goal was to raise 24,000 euros. The entire trip ultimately took three days.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n

Livestream of the event<\/h2>\n

Capestone was able to help Team Wybe by offering a 4G LTE solution in collaboration with Teltonika Networks. By using a 4G router, a mobile internet connection enabled a livestream of the event. In addition to the 4G router, a Poynting XPOL-A0001 4G MiMo antenna was provided for optimal reception on the boat. An ideal antenna due to its water resistance. With a Truly Unlimited SIM card offered by Comgate we could make use of the T-Mobile network without any worries.<\/p>\n

The finish line<\/h3>\n
