Dutch IT Channel, the organizer of the largest annual, exclusive IT networking event in the Netherlands, is proud to announce the nominees for the Dutch IT Channel Awards 2023. We are proud that our colleague Vanessa Claessen has been nominated as Dutch Tech Women of the year!<\/p>\n

Why vote for Vanessa<\/h2>\n

Vanessa Claessen is global sales director of IoT at Capestone. For more than a decade, Claessen has been active in the technological world of machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT), a market she has mastered both commercially and technologically. Together with resellers, Vanessa Claessen therefore scored several large-scale IoT projects for Capestone, in sectors such as retail and industrial IoT, but also in healthcare. For example, Capestone, together with IT partner GidPro, provided the 4G FWA technology for all Covid test lanes in the Netherlands. Claessen, who studied at Zuyd University in Heerlen and previously worked for Tech Data and others, led the arrival of a Capestone branch in Germany in 2023.<\/p>\n

As one of the few women in this sector, she also stands her ground – in addition to her commercial skills – on a technical level, which is often underestimated in advance by partners or end customers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n
