The RUTM55 excels with its versatile connectivity capabilities: it features four Gigabit Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) with MU-MIMO up to 867 Mbps and can serve up to 150 simultaneous Wi-Fi users. When it comes to IoT and industrial automation, the RUTM55 is also unprecedentedly powerful. Support for MODBUS (client & server), OPC UA, DLMS/COSEM and DNP3 makes this router well suited for applications such as SCADA, smart grids and smart meter communication.
For security and network management, the router offers extensive capabilities, including a powerful firewall with DDOS protection, VLAN segmentation, authentication via RADIUS, TACACS+ and X.509 certificates, and a TPM 2.0 chip for secure identification and encryption. Full management & monitoring
The RUTM55 is also particularly complete in terms of management. Through the user-friendly WebUI, CLI, SSH, TR-069 or SNMP you can easily manage networks locally or remotely. In addition, the router can be centrally monitored and configured via Teltonika RMS, ideal for large-scale deployments of hundreds of units. For IoT integrations, the router supports direct interfacing with platforms such as Azure IoT Hub, ThingWorx and Cumulocity Cloud, with capability for automatic device provisioning and extensive data collection via MQTT and HTTP(S). This makes the RUTM55 ideally suited for applications such as industrial automation and process control, smart energy networks, remote asset monitoring, VPN connections between sites or as an edge gateway for IoT.
