The Teltonika FTM880 is a next-generation 4G LTE Cat M1 battery-mounted vehicle GPS tracker for professional vehicle tracking, fleet telematics and applications where fast installation and robust hardware are important. FTM880 technology, GNSS and vehicle integration
The Teltonika FTM880 combines LTE Cat M1 connectivity with GNSS positioning and a rugged IP69K enclosure for vehicle tracking. The FTM880 uses a Quectel BG95-M1 module with AG3335 and supports LTE Cat M1, GPRS and GNSS. For position tracking, the tracker uses GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU, with hot start < 1 s, hot start < 25 s and cold start < 35 s. The internal High Gain GNSS antenna and internal High Gain cellular antenna keep the installation compact, while the U-Type cable, USB Type-C, Nano-SIM and 128MB internal flash memory connect to professional vehicle installations.
FTM880 management and configuration
For configuration and firmware updates, the Teltonika FTM880 supports FOTA WEB and Teltonika Configuration Tool. In addition, the device supports SMS for configuration and debug, and GPRS commands for configuration and debug. Time synchronization is possible via GNSS, NITZ and NTP. The tracker supports Deep Sleep, Online Deep Sleep and Power Off Sleep, with specified consumption values for each sleep mode. Thus, the FTM880 fits within management processes in which firmware, configuration, tracking settings and device status are managed via Teltonika tools.
