The Teltonika FTC965 is a next-generation high-voltage 4G LTE Cat 1 vehicle GPS tracker for professional vehicle tracking, fleet telematics and harsh environment applications. This model combines LTE Cat 1, GSM, GPRS, GNSS and Bluetooth® LE with a rugged IP69K enclosure. For positioning, the tracker supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU, with 135 tracking and acquisition channels, a tracking sensitivity of -165 dBM and a position accuracy of < 1.8 m CEP. The FTC965 features an input voltage range of 10-90 V, a 320 mAh Li-Ion backup battery and internal High Gain GNSS and mobile antennas. With that, this tracker is aimed at vehicle solutions where high input voltage, rugged protection and accurate location determination come together.

FTC965 technology, IP69K housing and Bluetooth integration

The Teltonika FTC965 combines 4G LTE Cat 1 mobile connectivity with GNSS positioning, Bluetooth® LE and vehicle interfaces. The model variant FTC965-QJAB0 uses the Quectel EG915U-EU with AG3335, while the FTC965-QKAB0 is equipped with the Quectel EG915U-LA with AG3335. For mobile communications, the device supports LTE FDD Cat 1 with data rates up to 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. For positioning, the tracker supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU, with hot start < 1 s, hot start < 25 s and cold start < 35 s. The IP69K rating makes the tracker suitable for applications where protection from dust, high-pressure water and steam is required.

FTC965 management and configuration

For configuration and firmware updates, the FTC965 supports FOTA WEB and the Teltonika Configuration Tool (TCT). In addition, the device supports SMS for configuration, DOUT control and debug, and GPRS commands for configuration, DOUT control and debug. Time synchronization is possible via GNSS, NITZ and NTP. Thereby, the FTC965 aligns with management processes in which firmware, configuration and device settings are performed via the aforementioned Teltonika tools and commands.
