Teltonika FTC881 – high voltage 4G LTE Cat 1 battery-mounted GPS tracker with improved GNSS accuracy and IP69K resistance

The Teltonika FTC881 is a battery-mounted 4G LTE Cat 1 vehicle tracker with GNSS positioning and an IP69K Ingress Protection Rating. The model is part of the FAST & EASY product family and is designed for connection via a U-type cable. The Fleet Telematics (FT) platform architecture has been adopted and the device features a 320 mAh Li-Ion backup battery and sleep modes for power management. GNSS is specified with GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU and supports position accuracy < 1.8 m CEP and tracking sensitivity -165 dBm.

Why Teltonika FTC881?

The FTC881 combines 4G LTE Cat 1 M2M connectivity with GNSS tracking and an IP69K enclosure in a FAST & EASY form factor with U-type cable connection. The 10-90 V input voltage range is specified for installations where higher on-board voltages are applied, with an internal 3 A fuse. GNSS tracking is specified with GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU, including 135 tracking/acquisition channels, -165 dBm tracking sensitivity and < 1.8 m CEP position accuracy. For power management, sleep modes are specified and an internal 320 mAh Li-Ion backup battery (3.7 V, 1.18 Wh). Remote management and updates are specified via FOTA Web and Teltonika Configurator (TCT), supplemented by SMS and GPRS commands for configuration and debug.
