The Teltonika FMM650 is a professional 4G LTE Cat M1 tracker for advanced applications in fleet management, heavy transport, logistics, agriculture, construction, mining and special vehicles. This model supports LTE CAT M1, NB-IoT, GSM/GPRS, GNSS and Bluetooth® LE, with 2G fallback for mobile data communications. The tracker features a separate GNSS module, external high gain GNSS and 4G/GSM antennas, dual SIM or eSIM and a 550 mAh Ni-MH backup battery. For vehicle and machine integration, the FMM650 supports CAN J1939, J1708, K-line, RS232, RS485, tachograph data and external peripherals, among others. The FMM650 is positioned as a professional tracker for applications where standard vehicle tracking needs to be combined with data from heavy vehicles, trailers, machinery and external devices. The device supports reading CAN data from heavy vehicles and special machines, remote downloading of tachograph files and reading live tachograph data via K-line, Tacho CAN or FMS. FMM650 technology, interfaces and integration
The FMM650 combines LTE CAT M1/NB-IoT/GSM connectivity with a separate GNSS module and comprehensive vehicle interfaces for professional telematics integration. For vehicle and machine data, the device supports CAN J1939, J1708, K-line, CAN FMS, DDD download, Tacho online data and fuel monitoring via LLS, Digital LLS, LV-CAN200, CAN FMS and ultrasonic level sensor, among others. In addition, the tracker features 2x RS232, 1x RS485, 1-Wire, digital inputs, digital outputs and analog inputs. External devices such as Garmin, RFID RS232, RFID 1-Wire, iButton 1-Wire, Temperature 1-Wire, Continental tire pressure measurement sensor, Iridium SBD and Carrier freezer are supported. This allows the FMM650 to be used in projects where mobile connectivity, vehicle data, tachograph data, sensors and peripherals need to be brought together.
FMM650 management and configuration
For configuration and firmware management, the FMM650 supports FOTA Web, FOTA and Teltonika Configurator. In addition, the tracker supports SMS for configuration, events, DOUT control and troubleshooting, plus GPRS commands for configuration, DOUT control and troubleshooting. Time synchronization is available via GNSS, NITZ and NTP. The USB 2.0 Mini-USB connection can be used for configuration and the device can be powered via USB for easier device configuration. This makes the FMM650 suitable for local configuration, firmware management and remote management within professional telematics environments.
