The Digi IX15 is at home in the most demanding environments. Its rugged, industrial housing and Class 1 Division 2 certification make it suitable and safe for use in hazardous locations, such as those in the oil and gas industry, where flammable gases may be present. This, combined with a wide operating temperature range, ensures reliable operation in the heat of a solar farm or the cold of a remote water treatment plant. Its true strength lies in its flexibility to connect to a wide range of local devices via the Digi XBee® ecosystem (Zigbee, DigiMesh, 802.15.4), Bluetooth® 5.0 and a serial RS-232/485 port.
