FMM230 technology, interfaces and integration

The FMM230 combines mobile LTE CAT M1/NB-IoT/GSM connectivity with GNSS, Bluetooth® LE and flexible vehicle interfaces. For positioning, the tracker supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU, QZSS and AGPS, with 33 tracking channels, 99 acquisition channels and a position accuracy of < 2.5 m CEP. For integration with vehicles and machines, the model features 3 digital inputs, 1 negative input, 2 impulse inputs, 3 digital outputs, 2 analog inputs, 1 CAN Adapter Input and 1-Wire. Bluetooth® LE allows pairing with Temperature and Humidity sensor, OBDII dongle, Inateck Barcode Scanner and Universal Bluetooth® LE sensors, among others. This allows the FMM230 to be used in projects where tracking, vehicle status, sensor data and fuel information come together.

FMM230 management and configuration

For configuration and firmware management, the FMM230 supports FOTA Web, FOTA and Teltonika Configurator via USB and Bluetooth® wireless technology. In addition, the datasheet mentions the FMBT mobile application for configuration. The tracker supports SMS for Configuration, Events, DOUT control and Debug, plus GPRS commands for Configuration, DOUT control and Debug. Time synchronization is available via GNSS, NITZ and NTP.
