Digi TX54 – Single WiFi
The Digi TX54 – Single WiFi is a high-performance industrial 5G router designed specifically for mission critical applications in transportation, public safety, industrial automation and other environments where maximum reliability is required. This robust router offers ultimate connectivity with support for a wide range of 5G NR Sub-6 GHz bands, LTE-Advanced Pro and global certifications on major mobile networks. This makes the TX54 perfect for deployments that require seamless communications, high speed and low latency.
This version of the Digi TX54 features Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) with dual-band support (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and 2×2 MIMO, allowing you to effortlessly pair wireless devices for local network applications. Bluetooth 4.2 also allows easy connection of peripheral devices. For location determination, an advanced GNSS module is provided that supports GPS, Galileo, BeiDou and GLONASS, including Untethered Dead Reckoning (UDR) for accurate navigation even when the satellite signal is temporarily missing.
The router is equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports that can be flexibly configured as WAN or LAN, an RS-232 serial port for industrial equipment, and a USB 3.0 port for additional applications. The Digi TX54 also features an aluminum IP54 enclosure that can withstand dust, vibration and extreme temperatures from -34°C to 74°C, in accordance with NEMA TS2 requirements.
With Digi TrustFence®, you are assured of comprehensive security features such as secure boot, cryptographic co-processors and advanced encryption. The router meets the U.S. FIPS 140-2 cybersecurity standard, making it immediately deployable in security-critical infrastructures such as public safety and smart transportation networks.
The Digi TX54 comes with Digi 360, which, in addition to a warranty and 24/7 support, also provides access to Digi Remote Manager® (Digi RM). This allows you to easily manage, configure and update large numbers of routers remotely via one central platform. In addition, the TX54 supports valuable add-ons such as Digi Containers for edge applications, Digi WAN Bonding for multi-WAN aggregation and failover, and Digi Mobile VPN for secure mobile connections with guaranteed session continuity.
